About me

My name is Kinga Junczys-Dowmunt
(KEEN-ga YOON-chis-DOV-munt)

My daily work involves creating wireframes and prototypes, preapering  scenarios for Usabiliting Testing and collaborating with development teams using the Agile methodology.  I gather information from users and stakeholders through interviews and workshops.
I implement accessibility standards in the projects
I work on, and negotiate with marketing, developers, and business teams about the necessity of introducing changes in ongoing projects.

I am learning WCAG intensively. I am taking part in a 160-hour course in creating and adapting websites to wcag standards.

I grow professionally by engaging in non-profit initiatives after hours, such as volunteering at a foundation.

I have comercial experience in the largest financial institution (PZU Group) in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe

UX Designer

PZU Group, 02.2024- ongoing

Scope of my responsibilities:‍

  • I have been working with the UX team since 2022, even when I was in the position of Customer Service Specialist
  • working on end-to-end projects
  • conducting desk research and analysis to inform design decisions
  • actively participating in workshops and project meetings with cross-functional teams
  • designing Lo-Fi, Hi-Fi, and Pixel Perfect wireframes and prototypes
  • preparing scenarios for usability testing
  • contributing to the development and maintenance of the Design System
  • collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • working daily with business representatives, product owners, and teams from PZU Finanse, PZU Życie, and PZU Zdrowie
  • managing both larger and smaller projects aimed at improving the functionality and user experience of the applications.
    The projects I work on range from enhancing the overall efficiency of existing tools to the development of new features, all focused on streamlining application performance

In my free time, I like to draw with colored pencils and paint with gouache.I'm big Harry Potter fan.I love walking in the botanical garden and discovering new plant.I like sewing, a few years ago, I graduated from a sewing school. So I am also a seamstress and clothing technologist by education.And of course I  love Lego bricks
